A furniture retail business in the United States

FurnitureAxis

FurnitureAxis runs the daily operations of US furniture retail: quotes, orders and invoices, serialized inventory across warehouses and showrooms, purchase orders, delivery routing, and a storefront that stays in sync with the back office. Before it, those jobs lived in separate tools that never agreed with each other.

What we built

A multi-tenant SaaS core

Next.js 15 with React 19 and strict TypeScript, backed by PostgreSQL through Prisma. Every record is isolated per organization, and the schema has grown past a hundred models as the product deepened.

A background worker in .NET

A separate C# service handles the heavy scheduled jobs: syncing the vendor product catalog, pushing products and stock to Shopify, and rebuilding the Algolia search index on cron.

A mobile companion app

An Expo React Native app on the same backend, so the team can work away from the counter.

Security that a business can run on

Role-based permissions, Google and Microsoft sign-in, and two-factor authentication, with Stripe handling subscription billing for the platform itself.

A long-term engagement

This is not a handoff-and-disappear project. The platform ships improvements continuously, with features scoped and delivered in short cycles.
