What we collect, why, and who else sees it. Short, because we collect very little.

Who we are

Dawloom is a software development agency based in Pakistan, working with clients worldwide. This site is dawloom.com. If you want anything on this page explained, or you want your data deleted, email support@dawloom.com and a person will answer. We are the data controller for everything described here.

What we collect

Three things, and nothing else:

  • Analytics. Which pages get read, from roughly where, on what kind of device. We use Google Analytics and PostHog for this. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell anything to anyone.
  • What you send us. If you fill in the contact form, we get your name, email, message, and optionally your company and how you found us. That is it. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
  • Bookings. If you book a call, Calendly handles it and holds the details you give it. The widget only loads when you open it.

Files you convert

The document converter at /tools/document-to-markdown/ runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your machine. There is no upload to opt out of, because there is no upload.

The API at /api/v1/convert and the MCP server at /mcp do receive the bytes, because they have to. The file is converted in memory and discarded when the request ends. Nothing is written to disk, nothing is logged except the format, the rounded size, and how long it took. We never see the content, and we could not retrieve your file if you asked us to. If a document is confidential, prefer the browser tool.

Cookies

Google Analytics and PostHog set cookies to tell repeat visits apart. Nothing on this site needs a cookie to work, so blocking them costs you nothing. Browser or extension level blocking is enough; there is no setting to change here.

Who else sees your data

Only the services we need to run the site. Each one gets the minimum it needs to do its job. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone not on this list.

ServiceWhyWhat it gets
CloudflareHosting and CDNRequest logs, including IP address, for delivery and abuse protection.
Google AnalyticsTraffic measurementPage views and a cookie-based visitor identifier.
PostHogProduct analyticsPage views, clicks on our own tools, and AI crawler visits. Loaded after the page is interactive.
ResendEmail deliveryThe contents of the contact form, so the message reaches our inbox.
CalendlyMeeting bookingWhatever you type into the booking widget. It loads only when you open it.
FraseAI crawler reportingThe URL and user agent of AI crawler requests. No visitor data.

How long we keep things

Contact form messages stay in our email for as long as the conversation is useful, and are deleted on request. Analytics data follows each provider's own retention, which is 14 months for Google Analytics and 12 months for PostHog by default. Converted files are kept for zero seconds past the request.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@dawloom.com. We answer within a few working days. We will not ask you to prove a legal basis or fill in a form; if it is your data, you can have it.

Agents and crawlers

Every AI crawler is allowed to read this site, and we log which ones do. That log holds the URL, the user agent, and the response status, nothing that identifies a person. The rules are in robots.txt, and what agents can call is written up on the developer portal. The API needs no account, so there is nothing to identify you by beyond the IP address used for rate limiting, which is held in memory only.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive, because the current version is the one that applies.
