Bitrise
$89.00
a month, Starter, billed yearly
Bitrise says Starter is "Recommended up to 100 builds/month". $99 if billed monthly. Source, checked 2026-10-13
A planning number, not an invoice. Medium machines only. It leaves out GitHub's free minutes (2,000 a month on Free, 3,000 on Team, for private repos), extra concurrency, tax, and the store accounts (Apple $99 a year, Google $25 once). Bitrise's Hobby plan is left out because Bitrise does not say how many builds its 300 credits buy.
How each vendor charges
- EAS charges a flat price per build, by platform and machine size (Expo, checked 2026-10-13).
- Codemagic charges per minute, or a fixed yearly fee for unlimited minutes (Codemagic, checked 2026-10-13).
- Bitrise sells plans sized by builds a month (Bitrise, checked 2026-10-13).
- GitHub Actions charges per minute by runner type, after free minutes on private repos (GitHub Docs, checked 2026-10-13).
How the calculator counts
- It picks the cheapest published plan for each vendor at your volume.
- Android builds run on Linux and iOS builds on the vendor's standard Mac. Medium machines only.
- The same build can take a different time on each vendor's machines. Use your own logs where you can.
- Free GitHub minutes, extra concurrency, and tax are left out.

Questions clients ask
Short answers, no sales language. If yours isn't here, ask an engineer directly.
Ask us anythingHow much does an EAS build cost in 2026?
On a paid plan, $1 per Android build and $2 per iOS build on a medium worker, or $2 and $4 on a large worker, after the plan's included credit. Starter is $19 a month with $45 of credit. Production is $199 a month with $225 of credit. The Free plan includes 15 Android and 15 iOS builds a month. Checked 2026-10-13 on expo.dev/pricing.
Is Codemagic cheaper than EAS?
For short builds, yes. Codemagic charges $0.095 a minute on a Mac mini M2, so an iOS build under about 21 minutes costs less than the $2 EAS charges. For long builds EAS wins, because its price does not grow with build time. With 10-minute Android and 15-minute iOS builds, Codemagic's $3,990 a year fixed plan beats its own pay-as-you-go rate above about 355 builds a month.
Is GitHub Actions free for mobile builds?
Only on public repositories. Private repositories get 2,000 free minutes a month on GitHub Free and 3,000 on Team. After that, standard macOS runners cost $0.062 a minute and Linux runners $0.006. You also write the signing and store upload steps yourself.
Why does the calculator say "Quote" for Bitrise?
Bitrise publishes Starter ($89 a month billed yearly, recommended up to 100 builds) and the entry price of Pro ($200 a month billed yearly, from 250 builds). It does not publish the price of higher Pro build tiers, so above 250 builds you need to ask Bitrise.
Does the calculator store what I type?
No. It runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
Need a release pipeline that just works?
We build iOS and Android apps from one codebase and take them through store review. An engineer replies, not a sales team.
