What happens to formulas and charts?

You get the cell values as a markdown table. Formulas, charts, and formatting are spreadsheet concepts that markdown cannot express, so they are not carried across.

Is my spreadsheet uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion runs inside your browser through WebAssembly. Financial data and client lists never leave your machine.

Why markdown tables instead of CSV?

CSV is fine for machines but markdown tables are readable by both people and AI tools, render properly on GitHub and in wikis, and paste cleanly into Claude or ChatGPT with the column structure intact.
